This didn't ship within the guaranteed time-frame, just as a head's up if you subscribe. Also, I'm picking and choosing which months I purchase based on spoilers. I signed up for this month's A5 box before deciding to move into a Personal Size. I am still planning on using my A5 as a desk agenda, but Personal is going to be my EDC once it's built.

Night Owl Lacquer - Candy Coated Review | May 2020 Polish Pickup | Frankly Kiersten Reviews

This is from the May 2020 Polish Pickup. The theme was Candyland and this polish was inspired by the candy coating that's so bright and fun. I love NOL polishes so much and absolutely need to buy more.

Girly Bits Cosmetics - Rogue Review | Frankly Kiersten Reviews

Did you know Girly Bits has a sale section and that she sometimes puts that sale section on an even bigger sell? I didn't, but I do now. I picked up this beauty as part of a going away sale and I'm so happy that I grabbed it. I didn't even know such existed from back in 2012, before I was in the indie world.

Rogue is red jelly, with pink, violet and red glitter, and micro bar glitter.

Get your eyeballs ready for a shimmery polish sent from the Gods. And it's got a punny name!

There was no July bag because they sent me the wrong month's bag. By the time they shipped mine, it was too late to get a replacement bag.

Ellagee Nail Polish - Sophia, Queen of the Side-Eye Review | August 2017 Polish Pickup | Frankly Kiersten Reviews

It's been a while since I reviewed Ellagee and it was so early on in my swatching career that I had no clue what I was doing. Luckily, Ellagee has stuck around and I'm able to have a second chance with this brand.

The August 2017 Polish Pickup Theme was Old Hollywood and this polish was based on Sophia Lauren giving some serious side-eye to Jayne Mansfield.

Sophia, Queen of the Side-Eye is charcoal scattered holo with pink/sepia flash, copper miniflakes, and green shimmer.

Barkbox (Just Right) - August 2020 Review | Frankly Kiersten Reviews

Links below are referral links. This means if you click my link and make a purchase of Barkbox, I will get a free box in return. Find out more info here.

What is BarkBox?: BarkBox is a monthly subscription box for your favorite pupper. Each box includes five items, two toys, two bags of treats, and a chew. You tell them the size of your pupper and how you want to pay, and then you decide if you want to spend an extra $9/box for an extra toy! It's divided into three sizes, Small, Just Right, and Large. We receive the Just Right size even though Trumpet is on the higher end of that and Murphy is large because the Large toys were just too big for Trumpet.

How Much is BarkBox?: If you want no commitments, cancel anytime, the box is $29/month. A three-month commitment brings it down to $25/month. Six months is $23/month (billed up-front as $138) and a one-year commitment is $22/month but you get to pay monthly! You get free shipping anywhere in the US and Canada, but there is sales tax applied to certain states. It states a guaranteed value of $40 but it never meets that guarantee.

Another month of both boys in the picture!

Sophi - Boyfriend Abroad Review | Frankly Kiersten Reviews

Disclosure: This post contains referral links. That means if you click the link and make a purchase, I will receive something in return. Find out more info here!

This is from Thrive Market. Yes, I can find nail polish anywhere! I love Thrive for snacks and apparently polish, so I highly suggest signing up for an account! Sophi is women-owned, it's by Piggy Paint, and is made in the US.

Boyfriend Abroad is a dusty muted mauve.

#Makeup Monday Urban Decay - Naked Heat Review | Frankly Kiersten Reviews

Today I have another oldie but a goodie to share, the Naked Heat palette by Urban Decay. This is one of my go-to palettes and I still love it, even so long after purchasing it. If you're looking for the perfect warm neutrals, you're in the right place!

Check out that vinyl by Polished Vino!

Moonflower Polish - Heart & Soul Review | Frankly Kiersten Reviews

Hey, y’all! Back with another polish. Today I have the second of five from Moonflower Polish (not all in a row). This is from the One More Light Collection which is a collaboration with my friend Jenalyn (Two Girls One Blush). It was created after Chester Bennington’s (Linkin Park) death based on anxiety and depression and Nadia’s (Moonflower Polish) love of LP. It was a charity collaboration benefiting the National Suicide Hotline and Linkin Park’s One More Light Fund.

Heart & Soul is slight holographic violet polish with blue/purple iridescent glitters.

Sephora Pop Favorites - August 2020 Review | Frankly Kiersten Reviews

This isn't a Hello box like the two previous boxes have been, this is just a random purchase that I made on Sephora's website and I wanted to see if their Favorites Boxes were worth the money. This was $15 and there isn't a coupon associated with the box. The guaranteed value was $26.

So far, it's looking more like Birchbox than I'd like. A box with a lot of white space and some small samples.

Ethereal Lacquer - Stardust Review | Frankly Kiersten Reviews

I'm pretty sure this is from a mystery bag because I can't find it swatched anywhere. That means the description is by me, which also means it won't be that great. I love Ethereal's mystery bags because I get polishes that I sometimes wouldn't buy but always end up loving!

 Shop|Instagram|Facebook Page|Facebook Group

Stardust is a shimmery pink base with iridescent flakies.

Twisting Nether Lacquer - Feline Familiar Review | September 2020 Polish Pickup | Frankly Kiersten Reviews

I received this polish in exchange for a review, all opinions are my own. Find out more here.

Today I have a polish for September's Polish Pickup! The theme is Halloween and the maker was inspired by the Feline Familiar battle pet from World of Warcraft. This polish is capped at 120 for the US and will be $12.50

Polish Pickup is a monthly polish shopping extravaganza! Each month, there's a new theme (voted on by group members) and makers individually decide if they want to participate and create their own polish to meet the theme. This month, the store is open from 9/4-9/7, and you can buy as many or as few polishes as you want. The shipping is $3.00 total (US) ($5.00 Canada), no matter how many polishes or other indie goodies you get, and they combine shipping if you make more than one order during the weekend!

Polish Pickup's info:

Twisting Nether Lacquer's info:

Feline Familiar is black jelly with green-blue-teal crystal chameleon flakes, lime-gold micro shreds and holo sparkle.

SmartyPits Lemongrass Patchouli | Deodorant Series #4 | Frankly Kiersten Reviews

Disclsoure: This post contains referral links, that means if you click them and make a purchase, I will get something in return. Find out more information here!

Sometimes I shop at Grove for my general house goods and I decided to see if I could find more deodorants from there, and I did! So many that the fact that I took off a few months from doing these means I'll be doing these for my entire life. Also, I've started my husband on the aluminum-free deodorant journey, wish him luck!

Here we have what has become my favorite deodorant. I'm so in love with this deodorant that I used it for two straight months and completely forgot that I was supposed to be reviewing deodorants for this series. This smells amazing, keeps me smelling great all day long, and just works. Plain and simple. An guess what, it's no longer available from Grove. Of freaking course.

Tonic Polish - Luminescent Review | Frankly Kiersten Reviews

I thought I'd posted this previously but I guess I swatched it and deleted the pictures to update them. This is a super old polish but it's stunning and I had to share it! This is actually available here!

Also, happy fall. It's officially September 1 and that means my house is going to be covered with Halloween and Fall decorations the moment I get home from work!

 Store|Facebook Page|Facebook Group|Instagram

Luminescent is a metallic aquamarine multichrome that softly shifts to pale blue and lilac purple with a subtle scattered holo sparkle.
