TacPack - May 2016

What is TacPack?: TacPack is a monthly subscription box full of gun gear for shooters and gun fanatics. Each month may include AR15 accessories, knives, EDC tools, targets, patches, shirts, cleaning materials, and stickers. Each box will include 3-7 pieces each month. You tell them your shirt size and glove size, so there's a slight hint at what might be in boxes!

How Much is TacPack?: I can no longer find where these can be purchased as one-offs, but the subscription is currently $49.95. You can also purchase past boxes when they are available and even items from the past boxes or specialty boxes.

Check out past TacPack reviews here.

It's that time again when my husband is super excited to get the mail!

Julep - May 2016

Disclosure: This post contains affiliate links.

What is Julep?: Julep started as a nail polish monthly subscription, but they have ventured into doing beauty products as well. With MyMaven, you get 3-4 products that you can swap in and out, and Maven Luxe is the same but with higher valued items and more slots!

How Much is Julep?: With
Julep, you have the option of choosing MyMaven or Maven Luxe. My Maven is $24.99/month and Maven Luxe is $39.99/month. The prices do lower with three-month subscriptions. There are occasionally offers for a free box with a three-month subscription, so keep an eye out for those!

May's subscription brought seven new polishes in bright colors and new holographic wraps. Julep also introduced Your Lip Addiction, a tinted lip oil, in three shades! I'm always interested in new lip products, so I of course had to grab one of those!

They included a gumball!! Yes, it's the little things.

Ipsy Glam Bag - May 2016

Disclosure: This review contains referral links.

What is Ipsy?: Ipsy is a monthly subscription that sends 4-5 beauty/makeup products plus a different makeup bag each month. They also have a referral program where you earn points. Be sure to use your points within a year of earning them, though, because they do expire. They have expanded the points program to give you additional points by sharing your bag and following their content creators on social media accounts!

How Much is Ipsy?: Ipsy is only $10 per month shipped to the United States or $10 plus shipping ($4.95) to Canada.

Check out other Ipsy reviews here.

New bag type? Yes!

Pretty & Polished Beauty Box - June 2016

Disclosure: This is a press sample, all opinions are my own.

What is Pretty and Polished?: Pretty and Polished is an indie nail polish brand that also sells bath & body products, nail vinyls, and this Beauty Box! This is a box that you get to choose which months you want to get, rather than a subscription that you have to cancel or skip. Just remember to buy it each month if you want to continue!

How Much is Pretty and Polished Beauty Box?: Pretty and Polished Beauty Box is only $22.00/month! Each box contains a coupon that could be 10% off or $5.00 off to use in the store as well, which means you can get more polish and products from this amazing maker. You can buy for 1, 3, 6, or 12 months at a time, and the boxes are cheaper at 6 months!

There is less than a week until this box closes, so grab it before it's gone!

Ever After Monthly Box - April 2016

What is the Ever After Monthly Box?: Ever After Polish's Monthly Box is a subscription box with features something new from Ever After each month. Each box will include one full size exclusive polish, one full size bath product, and one mini bath sample and/or mini polish.

How Much is the Ever After Monthly Box?: The box is $14/month plus shipping ($4 for US). The preorder is between the 15th and 22nd of the month, and the box ships out after that.

Instead of being a typical subscription where it is auto-deducted each month, you can either buy one box (during the availability time) or choose to be invoiced monthly. I of course chose the second option, so each month I receive an invoice and pay it though PayPal.

Check out these goodies! Like I mentioned on last month's box, husband got this one first and decided to get the March box after getting this one and falling in love with it. This was the box that decided that TacPack would be a regular subscription.

Polish Review: le Polish Birthday Club Polish - Gemini

Disclosure: This is a press sample, all opinions are my own.

The lovely maker of le Polish wanted to do a birthday type polish, but didn't want to have just any other birthday polish. Instead, the polish will be based off of Astrological signs! The first polish is based on Gemini and was inspired by the first photo here. The inspiration photo was voted on by members in the le Polish Facebook Group, which is a pretty good reason to join the group!

Important info: This polish releases on May 21st at 10am EST. If you are on the birthday list in the Facebook Group and Gemini is your sign, you can get this polish free with a $10 purchase from le Polish. If it's not your sign, you can still get this polish for $10! This polish is Limited Edition through June 20th, which is when the next sign will take over!

Now time for the polish!

Sorry this is a little bit late, there was a slight delay and then I was busy with the Icon Collection! By the way, that Mani Melt in Champagne Rose is the most amazing thing ever. I have refused to use it because I love the way it smells and I don't want to lose it. Bonus vinyls also included!

Rainbow Honey Mini Mystery Bag - April 2016

Disclosure: This post contains referral links.

What is Rainbow Honey?: Rainbow Honey is a monthly nail polish subscription box where you get not only nail polishes, but you get random beauty things (soaps, scrubs, oils, etc) as well! There's a mini version and a full-size version, so you can choose how much you want. The bags are the same, but the mini bag has mini polishes while the full size one has full sized polishes. There's also bigger extras in the full size bag and sometimes there's an extra.

The polishes and products you get in the Mystery Bag are ones that will be debuted in future collections, so it's a great way to see what is coming up next!

How Much is Rainbow Honey?: Rainbow Honey is $10/month (plus $2.95 shipping) for the mini bag and $25/month for the full size. You also don't have to pay shipping for the full size bag.

Click here to see past bags!

It's Summer colors for Rainbow Honey's April bag! The information sheet says that this bag's colors are inspired by weddings.

Kawaii Box - March 2016 + Giveaway!

Disclosure: This box was provided in exchange for a review. All opinions are my own. Affiliate links may be in this post.

What is it?: Kawaii Box is a monthly subscription box that sends you 10-12 Japanese and Korean Kawaii products! It ships straight from Singapore, so it's the real deal. It ships on the 20th of every month, so be sure to sign up quick!

How Much is it?: Kawaii Box is $19.80 per month, with the price going down slightly with longer subscriptions. Shipping is free international, which is a nice bonus.

Make sure to read to the bottom of this post for the giveaway information!

Kawaii Box is always packed full with stuff to play with, eat, use, or decorate your house/office with.

Marvel Collector Corps - April 2016

What is Marvel Collector Corps?: Marvel Collector Corps is a bimonthly subscription box that is curated and sent out by Marvel itself. Each box will have a theme that coincides with a release that's upcoming. This box is all about Deadpool, to coincide with the release of the movie.

All items in the Marvel Collector Corps boxes are exclusives!

How Much is Marvel Collector Corps?: Marvel Collector Corps is $25/month (plus $6.95 shipping) or $150/year (plus $41.70 shipping). Collector Corps does ship internationally, so it's open to everyone!

The April box was pretty easy to figure out, as Captain America Civil War just came out. I am on Team Iron Man, which is obviously the correct side.

TacPack - March 2016

Each month may include AR15 accessories, knives, EDC tools, targets, patches, shirts, cleaning materials, and stickers. Each box will include 3-7 pieces each month. How Much is TacPack?: I can no longer find where these can be purchased as one-offs, but the subscription is currently $49.95. You can also purchase past boxes when they are available and even items from the past boxes or

Last year, I reviewed TacPack and while the main product caused problems, the owner of the company is so wonderful that we said we would try them out again. My husband subsequently followed them on Instagram and he decided he wanted to start subscribing to them. He started with the April box (which will be up next week), but he found out he still had a chance to get the March box he jumped on it.

I tried something different with this box. I don't know if I like box displays or if I prefer flat-lays, so let me know if you have a preference!

Lip Love - April 2016

What is Lip Love?: Lip Love is a monthly subscription box by So Susan. Each month will include at least three full sized products, one bonus makeup, and one bonus accessory. Each month you get a unique canvas bag as well.

How Much is Lip Love?: Lip Love is $20.95 (American) per month with international shipping available. I did have to pay a foreign transaction fee because they are located in the UK, so make sure you know that ahead of time. The bags get cheaper if you do longer subscriptions, so that's always great.

I ended up switching up subscription boxes and thought that Lip Love would be a fun one to try out! Let me know if you have received it in the past and what you think.

I ordered this bag in the middle of April thinking I wouldn't get a bag until May, but I received April's and it came within a week of being shipped. That's amazing for being in the UK and in the middle of the month!

Polish Review - Pretty & Polished Icon Collection

Disclosure: This collection is a press sample, all opinions are my own.

*WARNING* This is a very photo heavy post!

Important information: This is an eight polish collection (four thermals, four non-thermals) inspired by eight music icons personal to the maker of Pretty & Polished. The inspiration for each polish is listed with every polish so you can feel connected to the process behind creating these.

These polishes release on May 13th, so make sure to check it out to grab your polishes. While you are on the Pretty & Polished website, be sure that you are signed up for the rewards program. It's a great system where you get perks for making more purchases. If you buy the Beauty Boxes, those purchases go towards your rewards as well!

Early apologies for the thermals. It went from being really cold to really warm and humid in the two days I was doing swatches, so bottle temps changed and it proved to be slightly difficult to get polishes to change as easily as they would had it not been such extreme temperatures.

Glamour Doll Eyes OTM - April 2016

What is Glamour Doll Eyes?: Glamour Doll Eyes before, it's a wonderful indie brand that makes all kinds of makeup products. It includes full sized products as well as a product from another indie brand and *sometimes,* freebies from GDE.

How Much Is Glamour Doll Eyes?:
 $11/month ($18 in Canada and $22 elsewhere).
If you want to see my past Glamour Doll Eyes reviews, click here!

Last year Glamour Doll Eyes did the Crazy Cat Lady starter kit, which I am not, but I still really liked the shades. When I saw that this year it was a Crazy Dog Lady, I may have done a little dance. If money and space permitted, I would adopt literally every dog in shelters. I am a crazy dog lady.
