Boxycharm vs. Ipsy vs. Birchbox - March 2015

After so many people were interested in last month's comparison of Boxycharm, Ipsy, and Birchbox, I decided I would do the comparison again! Check out past  Boxycharm ,  Birchbox , and  Ipsy  as well! March's Boxycharm was valued at $112.00 and contained Previse Nutrify Skin Type 1-6 Universal Tonic, LVX Nail Lacquer in Mynt, OFRA Eyeliner in Black, tarte LipSurgence Lip Tint in Charmed, and Oscar Blandi Hairspray. Boxycharm's points system has updated to new items you can get, but everything still shows as out of stock when I try to add something. I loved the nail polish (shocker) and the tarte, so those two alone made the box worth more than I had paid (it also introduced me to a new nail polish brand). I am still upset about the Previse because it is part of a multi-step system, but they only sent out part. OFRA eyeliners are nice, but black eyeliner is just black eyeliner. I like the hairspray, but it's nothing special. I did need some, though.

Rainbow Honey Mystery Bag (MINI) - March 2015

Rainbow Honey  is back live (as of yesterday) and you can now subscribe to their Mystery Bag again! If you are interested, your bag will start in April but currently the March bag is still available. If you get the mini bag, it is $10 (plus $2.95 shipping), whereas the full-size is $25 (with free shipping). I stick with the mini ones now, mostly because of how many polishes I already have. ;) The colors will be the same between the mini and the full size bag, the mini is obviously just smaller. The scents are the same as well, but there are product differences on what is included, or the sizes will be different! The colors for this month definitely weren't what I was expecting. For something March, I expected at least one green.  Products this month included: Rainbow Honey Tea Biscuit Scented Top Coat - Scented top coats are nice, but the scent definitely doesn't stick around longer than a few days. That being said, if you change your mani pretty frequently

Boxycharm - March 2015

Boxycharm is a monthly subscription that costs $21/month. They have monthly themes and send items based on those themes. I've seen boxes average 4-5 items, but some have more items. All of the boxes in a month are usually the same (shades may vary), which is good for spoilers. You also have the entire month to sign up and still be eligible to get that month's box. Shipping does take some time, though. They post that they have 5-10 business days to send you box out.  They have a  referral  program also that earns you charms. Other ways to earn charms includes reviewing items you receive each month as well as bonus charms for taking a box three months in a row. The charms can be redeemed towards month-specific items which will be sent in your next month's box! (If you use my referral, my email is k.boatwright1@gmail.com and I can also send you the referral code if you need it.) This box came fairly quickly, took less than a week from ship date to arrival, but the actual

Graze Calorie Counter Box

It's here, our Calorie Counter Box from Graze! Alongside the Nibblebox, they are now offering (or perhaps they have been and I never realized it before) a Calorie Counter Box. You get the same four snacks in your box, but all snacks have between 50 and 150 calories. I have both my Nibblebox and my Calorie Counter Box in the same account, so I don't have to review snacks twice. They still follow your dislikes, tries, likes, and loves; but keep calories low! This week, I got Fig Roll, which isn't my favorite but I will eat parts of it, BBQ Corn, which is for dear husband's, Summer Berry Compote, which is something we will snack on, and El Picante which is new but I'm sure husband will like it. Graze has added a ton of options since the last time I checked. Now in addition to the Nibble box (that's now the Variety Box) and the Calorie Counter box, there's the Sugar Count box (under 5 grams of sugar per item), Savory box, Sweet Treat box, 8-Count Var

Julep Eyeshadow Details + Coupon Code!

I want to introduce you to a product that I'm personally excited to try. Julep released eyeshadows a while back as part of them expanding their beauty products line and they are offering a deal for the next week where you can get two of their eyeshadows and their eyeshadow brush for only $29.99 (a $54 value).  On the left is Earthshine (tree bark with chrome pearlescence), the right is Borealis (charcoal with peacock pearlescence).  I love the extra shimmer and how they use three times the pigment so you get an extra shine and extra color! Earthshine is a great neutral but it is still a pop of color. Borealis can be used as a darker neutral, but there is this amazing blue and purple color shift that makes it so worth it.  Both shadows are so easy to use. Brushing it on dry will be a nice little bit of color, whereas using it wet will be a more dramatic look. Either way, it gives you a great eye look that will last all day. This shadow brush can be

Glamour Doll Eyes Of the Month - March 2015 + Coupon Code

For those that haven't heard of  Glamour Doll Eyes  before, it's a wonderful indie brand that makes all kinds of makeup products. She recently moved to a new  Of the Month  site that handles the massive amounts of traffic that has been happening recently and is choosing subscribers via a  Rafflecopter  that you can enter in each month, so make sure to enter in every month if you don't win! This subscription is $10/month ($15 in Canada and $17 elsewhere) and includes full sized products and usually (but not always) a freebie sample! This lace and polkadot bag is adorable. I need to start finding something to do with all of these bags. Theme and info card. I think it's cute how everything is Pretty Little Liar-esque. I don't watch the show anymore, but I read the books when they came out and obsessed over them. The Try More Indie coupon code this month is for For Goodness Grape with the code 'ILOVEINDIE'!  Miss Adoro Lashes #5 - A

Ipsy Glam Bag - March 2015

Ipsy is a monthly subscription priced at $10/month that sends 4-5 products plus a different (mini) makeup bag each month. They also have a  referral  program where you earn points for referring people to joining. Those points can also be earned for sharing your bag on Facebook and reviewing the products you receive. The nice part is they offer online coupons for most of their monthly items and you can get the coupons for all offered products in all bags that month, just not yours. They have updated the rewards you get for using points and now will offer rewards for 500, 1000, and 1500 points. They still are terrible about updating what is offered and currently, not too much is in stock. Be sure to use your points within a year of earning them, though, because they do expire. Check out other Ipsy reviews  here . While the bag fits the theme, I'm not big on flowers. It's a decent quality bag, however, and would definitely stand up quite some bit. pur-lisse Gentl

Birchbox - March 2015

Birchbox is the original subscription box, and it's still going strong. Even when the box isn't the greatest, the subscription is usually worth it because of the points system. For those that don't know, Birchbox sends anywhere from 4 to 8 products a month (full size, deluxe sample size, and sample size) and you can review your items each month for 10 points/item. You can also get additional points for getting a yearly subscription or getting  referrals . Every 100 points you earn is $10 to use in their shop. Now on to the box! Another pretty box for Birchbox. Make sure you are keeping your boxes! They have something special planned for them at the end of the year! I forgot to write what makes me feel creative....whoops! The theme is creativity. Info card. Yes To Cucumbers Hypoallergenic Facial Wipes  ($1.99) - I am already a believer of Yes to products, (in fact, here 's a review of their mystery box from a few months back), so I was pleas

Graze Variety Box

Like I've mentioned before, you can get the box weekly, biweekly, or more often if you prefer, and it's always $6/box. Using my r eferral link , you can get your first and fifth boxes free. You can also cancel at anytime, and review items to decide if you want to get them again or never. Also, you can review items you haven't already gotten if you know you aren't going to like it and change the option to 'trash' and they are less likely to send it. That makes me seriously happy because I hate to see food wasted and don't want to get things that I know no one in my family will eat. The Nibblebox is their standard box, but they also have a Calorie Counter box that has lower calorie options (I get this the weeks I don't get the Nibblebox). Somehow my Graze subscription got started up again, so I ended up getting four boxes before I could stop it. I hate that I paid for them, but at least I'm getting decent things so far. All four of these,

innocent+twisted Alchemy - March 2015

innocent+twisted is a newer subscription that I stumbled upon and new I had to bring it to you as soon as I saw it. The owner/maker is an amazing person that hand-draws the art that comes with the subscription. With this subscription , it is $18/month for what you see below. There is a deluxe subscription as well for $12/month. She also ships internationally for $4 extra on either options. Artwork. Info card. For getting the subscription, you also get a 35% off coupon (full size) or 30% off coupon (deluxe). It came in a sharks bag...legit dancing around when I saw this. Exclusive shadows. With flash. Without flash. Swatches. L-R  Critical Objective - An amazing goldish/yellow with tons of shimmer. It looks great lightly or darker, and I can use this with some great blending or as a pop on liner. Runner Vision - This goes on just like a matte blue, but there is a faint shimmer. It takes more work than the other two colors, but i
